The Measuring Head LRM-SAG-2 is used for detection and measurement all significant defects of flat steel-rubber ropes and conveyers belts.

The LRM-SAG-2 has been originally designed for examination steel-rubber balance ropes SAG and enables testing a whole range of ropes produced by SAG company. Using only the upper part of the head allows examining ends of flat ropes, e.g. in a rope sling and belt conveyor flights reinforced with wires. Heads were tested in the most hard environmental conditions in Polish and Ukraine mines as well as in MAKNI Institute (Donieck). The head's design was based on extensive experience in the construction of LRM-MH heads, designed for performance in the marine environment. The technology and applied impregnation secure work reliability of the head even when used in heavy testing conditions, including possibility of flow by corrosive water.

The LRM-SAG-2 (Patent RP 169517) comprises two inductive sensors, a sensor for detecting long changes LMA (European Patent ET 0205752) and rope movement sensor.
